Having a highly educated workforce is something we believe in so fully that we help our employees pay for their continuing education.
Tuition Reimbursement
MedAmerica supports its employees in obtaining college degrees and professional certifications and will reimburse some of the cost for work-related education. We reimburse employees for up to 100% of the cost of tuition, registration fees, and books when courses are approved in writing in advance and then completed successfully. Coursework must be related to current or potential future job duties or qualifications to qualify for reimbursement. The annual reimbursement schedule for undergraduate and graduate courses is as follows:
- Employees with one year of service: Reimbursement up to $2,000
- Employees with two years of service: Reimbursement up to $3,000
- Employees with three years of service: Reimbursement up to $5,000
Staff Development
Tuition reimbursement is different from staff development, which is designed to allow employees to attend seminars and other one-time professional development classes.
