Vacation Time

MedAmerica employees accrue three weeks of vacation per year upon hire.

Sick Time

Sick hours accrue at a rate of two weeks per year.

Holidays

Full-time and part-time employees are eligible for holiday pay on the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Day
  • Presidents Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day
  • Birthday Holiday (Employee’s Birthday)

Leave of Absence

We offer various leave programs for employees who need to be away from work due to medical, legally required, or personal reasons. MedAmerica adheres to all applicable laws, including but not necessarily limited to, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Workers’ Compensation Act, and other applicable federal and state laws.

Flexible Schedules

MedAmerica allows employees to work flexible schedules if and when their position can accommodate such flexibility.
